fff.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 4. Two New Zealand Civil Aviation Department officials are visiting the United States Federal Aviation Agency this week for technical talks. The men are Mr F. J. Steel, controller of operations, and Sir S. Livingstone, superintendent of operations and planning. They stopped in Washington on their way to the fourth air navigation conference of the International Civil Aviation Organisation, which will begin in Montreal, on November 9. The officials will leave this week-end for New York. Their talks with Federal Aviation Agency specialists include aircraft performance requirements, with particular emphasis on landing requirements, air traffic control terminal and en route flight procedures, and flight-crew licensing and examinations.
