Rowling Has Winning Lead With only one match remaining in the New Zealand Croquet Council’s president’s tournament, which is being held in Ashburton, G. Rowling (Motueka), has an unassailable lead, having won 10 matches. Two other players, H. C. Ford (Wellington) and C. T. Wadsworth (Auckland), have scored eight wins each. The surprise yesterday was the defeat of Ford by Mrs E. Todd (Christchurch). Results:— Tenth Round.—J. J. Campbell (Hamilton) 26, Mrs C. T. Wadsworth (Auckland) 5; G. Rowling (Motueka) 26, C. T. Wadsworth (Auckland) 1. Eleventh Round.—Mrs E Todd (Christchurch) 26, Mrs L. Hight (Thames Valley) 11; H. C. Ford (Wellington) 26, K.
