Nixon Advocates Increased Bombing

(N.Z P.A -Reuter —Copyright) DALLAS, Nov. 5. A former vice-president, Mr Richard Nixon, last night called for increased bombing raids against military targets in North Vietnam to discourage “Communist aggression.”

He said the United States should not accept neutralisation as a solution in Vietnam. He said neutralisation meant: "We get out, the Communists

stay in and take over.” His speech was greeted with cheers from the audience at a Republican Party fund-rais-ing dinner. Mr Nixon ruled out United Nations mediation as a solution to the war. “Where security of the world is threatened by Communist aggression, the policy must be made by the United States and not by the United Nations,” he said. “No nation in the world could be neutral except for the power of the United States.”

French Visit.—Prince Philip flew to Toulouse last night to visit the Sud-Aviation factory where parts of the AngloFrench Concord supersonic airliner are being built. —Toulouse, Nov. 5.
