People In The Play
Seven members of the touring New Zealand Rugby league team have now played 50 or more games for their country. B. T. Reidy and H. K. Emery have played 58 times, W. L. Snowden 56, R. D. Hammond and G. M. Kennedy 55, R. W. Bailey 54, and S. K. Edwards 50. All except Snowden are included in the third test team which will play Britain tonight
The sprightly veteran of New Zealand diving, J. Stewart, now 42, will be among the competitors in the one-metre diving competition to be held at the Naenae Olympic Pool on December 5. His opponents will include the former national men’s springboard champion, A. M. Winther (Wellington). If the contest proves successful, the one-metre dive could become a national championship event
