EXHIBITION IN BRITAIN
Paintings Of N.Z. Series (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct 4. A collection of 24 New Zealand landscape paintings for exhibition in Britain left Auckland yesterday in the Rangitane. The collection, made up of works exhibited in Kelliher art competitions, was selected at the request of the New Zealand High Commissioner’s Office in London. The landscapes, will be shown at New Zealand House early next year and will afterwards be sent on tour through Britain.
Included are paintings by Austin Deans, Henderson Porter, Douglas Babcock, Peter Mclntyre, Cedric Savage, lan Scott and Colin Wheeler.
