Girls Still Missing
No trace had been found late last night of two girls missing from their homes in Christchurch, one since October 25 and the other since October 31. Lorraine Blakely, aged 14, has been missing from her home in Wainoni since October 25. Lynette Craig, aged 17. left her home in Jeffreys road, on Sunday evening. Her family and relatives again spent many hours yesterday looking for her. The Christchurch police had several messages from persons who reported seeing either or both girls, but none of the leads proved successful. The police have no reason to think that the girls are together. The families think that they are not together. Any person knowing their whereabouts is asked to get in touch with the nearest police station.
