PAPARUA COUNCIL
Chairmen Of Committees Committees of the Paparua County Council have completed their first meetings after the elections on October 9 and have elected their chairmen. Cr. F C. Britnell succeeds Cr. W. L. Ragg as chairman of the Sockburn County Town Committee, and Cr. H. W Bennett has been re-elected Hornby County Town Committee chairman. Other sitting committee chairmen were re-elected:— Cr. C. W. A. Kyle, reserves and domains; the county chairman (Mr R. J. Roberts), finance; Cr. D. H. Warren, general works and machinery; Cr. J. U. Barclay, rural district; and Cr. Barclay town planning. Cr. W'rren is also chairman of the stock water committee.
