The Malaysian Prime Minister (Tunku Abdul Rahman) said today he was satisfied with assurances that Singapore would consult Malaysia bef ore going ahead with plans to resume barter trade with Indonesia. Speaking to reporters after a meeting of the Federal Cabinet, the Tunku said: “They must not go ahead with this without getting our views and opinions on defence and security. “However, Dr. Goh Keng Swee (Singapore Defence Minister) has assured us that he will be bringing it up before our joint security council.”
