Mr May Loses Seat
The Canterbury Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals last evening reelected its president, Mr A. Bullivant. but voted Mr E. L. May off its council. Mr May was chairman of the outgoing council. The new council comprises Messrs L. F. Beauvais, G. S. G. Bennett, L. Brown, R. G. Cottier, N. McSweeney, C. W. Olliver, and J. Quickenden, and Mesdames I. E. Anderson, T. Kennard, B. Maraki, D. L. McGill, and N. Orton.
