FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—An anti-cyclone over the Tasman Sea is moving eastwards on to New Zealand. Forecast: Canterbury.—Light to moderate north-east winds predominating; areas of low cloud with patches of light drizzle at first, but partly cloudy later, with rising afternoon temperatures. Outlook: partly cloudy. Buller and Westland.—Light, variable winds; partly cloudy with cool to moderate temperatures. Outlook: partly cloudy, Nelson and Marlborough.—Light to moderate variable winds; cloudy at first with some scattered areas of light rain, but becoming fine; moderate afternoon temperatures.
