Holiday Air Traffic
Bookings for flights with the National Airways Corporation during the Labour Day week-end shows every indication of being heavy. Already, with the holiday two weeks away, the airline is putting on 54 special flights (45 north bound and nine south bound) at Christchurch for the period from October 22 to 26 inclusive. These are in addition to normal scheduled services. October 22 and 25 promise to be the busiest with 17 and 16 special flights.
