Printing Houses’ Tournament
The seventh annual printing and allied trades golf tournament, sponsored by the supply houses, was held at the Templeton Country Golf Club and drew an entry of 115. The winner of the Whitcombe Rose Bowl was I. McK. Sinclair, a former New Zealand test cricketer. Results: Whitcombe rose bowl, stroke: I. McK. Sinclair. 89, 24—65; T. R. Caldwell, 104, 36—68. Graphic Arts Supplies Cup, Stableford: P. C. Campbell 42 points, C. Crowley 41. Gordon and Gotch Challenge Cup (non-club members): W. Corbett, 99, 36—63; R M. Fowler, 94, 28 —66. Best net, nine holes: J. R. Clark 33. Nine-hole Stableford: M. P. Boland 22. Consolidated prize: W. Christie.
