Springboks’ Thanks
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Rugby Union last night received a letter from the South African Rugby Board expressing its appreciation for the goodwill and hospitality shown towards the Springboks on their recent tour. The letter said it hoped that relations between the two countries would continue to remain at the present high level. The South African board hoped that no more animosity would prevail in the future. The atmosphere for Rugby in New Zealand was the best in the world, the letter stated.
