Theatre Manners
Sir, —All too often while attending films my appreciation of the film has been distracted by the annoying presence of rowdy teen-agers in the theatre. Requests to the management have been met with obscure excuses and I have found myself either requesting silence or having to leave the theatre and hence losing an evening’s enjoyment and money to boot. I will be the first to admit that one can find noisy teenagers throughout the world (I was no paragon of virtue myself), but when I have to take the initiative in keeping order because of timidity or laek of concern by the management, who is supposed to be my host for the evening. I must conclude that the notorious cliche, “She’ll be right.” will 'orce me to realise that television in my own home must become the mainstay of my visual enjoyment. Vniirc pfp RELUCTANT VIGILANTE.
