Maple Has Good Half Year
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 4. During the last six months, sales and trading profit of the Maple Furnishing Companies, Auckland-based holding company, again showed an increase over the comparable period last year, according to the New Zealand Stock Exchange Association. Sales for the current trading period are continuing at a profitable level, and provided the Government’s proposed financial restraints do not unduly restrict the current trends, a satisfactory year’s trading should result, the company says.
