Hit-And-Run Driver
The police last night were looking for the driver of a car which was in a collision with a motor-scooter at the corner of Fitzgerald avenue and Cashel street but did not stop.
The motor-scooter rider, John Bedington Dann, of 81 Cuffs road, suffered minor abrasions. The scooter was extensively damaged. The accident happened about 8.50 p.m. Any person who saw the collision is asked to get in touch with the motor accidents branch at the Christchurch Central Police Station.
