Inglewood Thefts

NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 13. Hundreds of pounds worth of clothing, goods and money was stolen from six Inglewood and New Plymouth shops last night. The head of the New Plymouth C. 1.8., Detective-Serg-eant G. Hogan, said today that three Auckland youths had been apprehended and would appear in the New Plymouth Children’s Court.

In New Plymouth two raids were made on the Army surplus stores, and a large quantity of clothing, jackets and equipment was removed. The railway bookstall was broken into, and chocolate, cigarettes and books were taken.

In Inglewood four shops were broken into and goods and money amounting to about £3OO was taken.
