Evening Suit Stolen By Burglar
A burglar who broke into the premises of the Canterbury Woollen Company, - in Cashel street, on Sunday night, stole only an evening suit. It is worth £l6. The premises were entered through a closed, but unlocked, window at the top of a fire escape. A radio and gas-welding eqipment, valued at £5O, were stolen from the Jarrah Timber Company’s premises in Moorhouse avenue during the week-end. A glass panel was broken to enable a door to be forced open.
