WOMAN HIT BY PELLET
Three Youths Charged <.V Z. Prexx Association) ROTORUA. Sept. 14. Three youths. Para Tahrierangi. aged 17. Sonny Tai Thomas Thompson, aged 18. and George Hori Ka-he, aged 17, all workmen, of Mourea. faced joint charges in the Magistrate's Court this morning of breaking and entering the home of John Short with intent to commit a crime and assaulting Violet Evelyn Habberfield Short with intent to avoid detection. Detective Senior Sergeant J. F. Stevenson said the charges arose from an inci--1 dent in a Mourea house last | night, when a 70-year-old woman was struck in the neck by a pellet from an air pistol. The youths were remanded in custody to Monday by Mr J. T. Beck. J.P.
