Ferry Fully Booked
f.X’ Z. Prr.ss Association) AUCKLAND. September 13. There is no more room for cars on the inter-island ferry Aramoana during Christmas week or in January. The rail-air car freight ser vice across Cook Strait is also booked out during Christmas week and motorists will have to act promptly to secure car space on the interisland steamer sailing between Wellington and Lyttelton. A Railways Department official said today the Aramoana was completely booked for most days during the school holidays. The new ferry Aranui was not expected to arrive until about February.
