Golf Won By Northern
(N Z. Press Association) CAMBRIDGE, September 2. Northern Districts, thanks mainly to the Aucklander, Miss N. White, who proved to be a captain by example, beat Southern Districts to win an exciting tussle for the New Zealand women's home golf series at Cambridge today. Northern Districts finished with 16i points. Then came Southern Districts 15. Central Districts H, and New Zealand Juniors 7. The leading Individual scores tn the stroke contest were:— 155: Miss N. White (Northern Districts), 77. 78. 159: Miss S. Grigg (Southern Districts), 81, 78. 162: Miss C. Sullivan (Southern Districts). 84, 78; Miss G. Bawden (Northern Districts). 164: Miss J. Butler (New Zealand Juniors), 83. 81; Miss W Dillon (Southern Districts), 82. 82. 165: Mrs V. Cullen (Southern Districts), 83. 82. 166: Miss U. Wickham (Northern Districts), 83. 83.
