DAIRY POST
MrF. Onion Elected (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 2. The Dairy Board today elected Mr F. L. Onion as deputy chairman to succeed Mr R. A. Candy who retired on August 31. Mr Onion has been a prominent figure in the dairy industry for many years. A farmer at Te Kowhai. near Hamilton, he has been a member of the Dairy Board since 1957. As one of three representatives of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company of which he has been chairman for the last four years. Mr Onion is a member of the Dairy Products Prices Authority and also of the policy committee of the Dairy Board. He is a director of a number of companies associated with the dairy industry. He has given many years of service to local bodies.
