CAPSIZED BARGE
Cargo Lost, Man Hurt (N Z Press Association) KAITAIA, Sept. 2. A barge owned by Parry Brothers, Auckland, capsized at 1.20 a.m. today on Parengarenga harbour after loading serpentine rock for Auckland. Two men aboard were flung into the water. One, Mr John Donoghue, of Auckland, was struck by the barge and is in Kaitaia Hospital. The .serpentine rock and a crane on the barge were lost when it drifted out to sea. It was later beached and refloated.
