Appeal System Criticised
IN Z Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, September 2 The deputy Opposition leader, Mr Gough Whitlam. today gave notice in the House of Representatives that the Opposition would move to have appeals to the Privy Council abolished. The motion will claim that the Privy Council appeal system was contrary to Australia’s status as an independent nation.
