“Gang Show”

Sir,—Last night it was my pleasure and privilege to see “Gang Show 1965." After a fast-moving show of excellent entertainment, with costumes and stage decor that would have done credit to any visiting overseas company, the curtain finally rose on what, to me, was the highlight of the evening—over 100 boys and young men immaculate in scout uniform and wearing the much coveted red “Gang Show” scarf. It was obvious from the faces of all whether scouts, venturers, rovers or scouters, that life is indeed proving to be the “joyous adventure” that her Majesty the Queen wishes them when they earn the Queen’s Scout award. Congratulations to all concerned and best wishes for future “Gang Shows,” and the continued good influence of scouting on the youth of our country and elsewhere.— Yours, etc., GOOD SHOW. September 2, 1965.
