Fourth Try Married

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept. 1.

After three unsuccessful attempts the .chief officer of the Italian passenger liner Fairsea, Mr Nicolai Di Stefano, of Palermo, Sicily, married an Adelaide High School teacher, Miss Judith Horne, yesterday. Their courtship had been dogged by official interference since they met more than a year ago in Southampton, England. They first planned to marry last Christmas in Fremantle, but the necessary documents were not available and the ceremony was postponed until Mr di Stefano’s next trip. Later a new law prevented their second attempt. A postal strike in Palermo, Italy, held up Mr di Stefano’s papers and forced the couple to call off the third attempt.

“This is a case of fourth time lucky,” said the couple after -he wedding.
