Rock Falls On Tunneller
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Aug. 25. A tunneller was flown from Deep Cove to Invercargill and admitted to Kew Hospital today after a rock fell on him in the Manapouri tailrace tunnel. He is John Campbell, of Christchurch. He has suspected spinal injuries and the hospital later reported his condition as “fairly satisfactory.”
