KINDERGARTEN BOUNDARIES
Review By Zoning Committee Kindergarten district boundaries are being reviewed by a zoning committee and directors, and necessary adjustments are being made, says a report from a council meeting of the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association. Applications for student training were coming in steadily for next year, the meeting was told. It was announced that Mrs G. Fleming had been appointed director of the Papanui kindergarten.
Remits for the conference of the New Zealand Kindergarten Union, to be held at New Plymouth in September were discussed at the meeting. Delegates Delegates from the Christchurch association will be Mesdames A. V. Butcher, A. J. D. Dearsley, G. Whale and Mr J. H. M. Dawson. The president (Mrs A. P. Steven) will attend as the association’s member on the union executive.
