Tibetan Boy To Go Home
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 13. Tsering Topygal, the 12-year-old Tibetan boy flown to Green Lane Hospital for a heart operation five months ago, will return to India on August 21. For the last three months. Tsering has been staying with Mrs Dawn Miller in Titirangi and attending Rutherford High School, where Mrs Miller is a teacher. He will return to India with his friend and interpreter, Lithang Dorji. Both Tsering and Lithang have learnt to type and when they return to India will take with them a portable typewriter, given by the Save the Children Fund.
