INQUIRY ON RIOT
P.S.A. To Be Represented (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 12. The Public Service Association will be represented at any inquiry held into the Mount Eden Prison riot. A deputation seeking representation met the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) tonight. A P.S.A. spokesman said later the deputation had received “satisfactory assurances.” The association wants to be represented so it can protect the interests of prison officers who are among its members.
