Island University Teams Named
Ten Canterbury players—four from Lincoln College and six from Canterbury University—have been selected for the South Island Universities side to play North Island Universities at Palmerston North on August 28. After the inter-island game a New Zealand Universities side will play Manawatu and Wanganui before the final team is chosen to play
against South Africa at Auckland on September 8. Seven All Blacks—M. W. Williment, I. N. Uttley, R. CMoreton, E. W|. Kirton, C. R. Laidlaw, W. A. Davies and J. N. Creighton—are included in the inter-island XV’s. The teams are:—
