Three Houses Sold
A modernised bungalow at 37 Beveridge street was sold for £2750 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keenan, who offered the property on account of the estate of Frederick Thomas Smith. The house has five rooms, kitchenette, bathroom, and two sunporches.
Outbuildings on the section of 22.4 perches, zoned residential B, include a garage, shed, and glasshouse. Offered on account of the estate of Thomas Dixon, a bungalow at 61 Torrens road. Addington, was sold for £2425. The auctioneer was Mr Ray Simes. The house has two bedrooms, sunroom, living-room, kitchenette, bathroom, and laundry.
There is also a garage, and a glasshouse on the section of 30 perches. A bungalow comprising a bedroom, sunroom, livingroom, and kitchenette on a section of 20 perches at 28 Archer street, St. Albans, was sold for £2250.
The property was sold by Mr M. McCrostie on account of the estate of Violet May Jones.
