Permits W ere Invalid fN.Z. Press Association* WELLINGTON. August 6. All permits to import stock from Britain had been declared invalid when the Government had been advised of the recent outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease there, the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Taiboys) told Parliament today. Replying to a question from Mr A. McCready (Govt.. Otaki), Mr Talboys said no further permits were issued until the Government was informed that the eradication programme in Britain was completed.
