Home After Surgery

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 6. Vastly improved in health, Mrs Phyllis Reinsch, of Atlanta, Georgia, left for home last night after heart surgery in Auckland. Mrs Reinsch entered the Green Lane Hospital six weeks ago for an aortic valve transplant. The operation was successful. Mrs Reinsch, accompanied by her husband and daughter Penny, travelled to Auckland on the recommendation of the Johns Hopkins Clinic in Baltimore.

She was discharged from hospital three weeks ago and after convalescing in the city made a trip to Rotorua and Waitomo.

“Pm thrilled to be going home,” said Mrs Reinsch, "but everyone has been so wonderful to us I feel really sad to be leaving. We’re coming back though and we’re going to bring our friends with us.”
