Want Prison Demolished
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 3. The Minister of Justice (Mr Hanan) will be asked by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce to have the Auckland Prison torn down. Speakers at the council meeting of the chamber today said the prison grounds should be turned over to the nearby educational institutions —the Auckland Grammar School and St. Peter's College—both of which were affected by present motorway construction.
