Two Hurt In Collisions

Michael Vaughan, of Woodend, suffered head injuiries when a car and a truck collided at the corner of Madras street and Bealey avenue last evening. He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital where his condition was later reported to be satisfactory. At 9 p.m., Mr C. Chittenden, of 426 Madras street, suffered slight head injuiries and a suspected broken collarbone when his motor-cycle and a car collided at the corner of Cashel and Madras streets. He was treated at the Christchurch Hospital and discharged.
