Count Lin To Arrive Today

The Grand National Steeplechase candidate. Count Lin, is due in Christchurch this morning. Count Lin was to have been flown from the North Island but missed the plane after being stranded in a snowstorm. His owner-trainer, Mr T. H. Knowles, had not engaged a rider for Count Lin late yesterday. They stayed together early but Count Lin drew away at the finish and won by three lengths. The mile took him Imin 49sec, the iast three furlongs In 38 l-ssec. It was good work for jumpers Count Lin looked brighter than when trained at Awapuni earlier.
