GAOL TERMS REMITTED
Cook Islands 9 Independence (N Z. Press Association) RAROTONGA, August 5. To mark Constitution Day in the Cook Islands the High Commissioner (Mr A. D. Dale) today remitted all prison sentences which have less than twelve months to run. Yesterday the Prime Minister (Mr Albert Henry) and his cabinet were sworn in and Mrs M. Story was elected Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. Independence celebrations are to be held from September 9 to September 12.
