Demand For Tickets
The demand for tickets for the third test between New Zealand and South Africa at Lancaster Park is far greater than it was for the third test between the British Lions and New Zealand in 1959, said the secretary of the Canterbury Rugby Union (Mr M. G Teague) yesterday. Mr Teague said that his office had been inundated with inquir.es for tickets from all over New Zealand during the last week. In 1959 there was a record crowd of 58.000 to watch the third test. The biggest crowd to watch the 1965 Springboks so far is 46.290 at Wellington last Saturday
Soccer Withdrawal. tfouth Korea has withdrawn from the World Cup soccer eliminations competition, leaving only Australia and North Korea to play off for the sixteenth position in the competition proper.
