U.S. AIMS IN VIETNAM
Effects On China (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) WASHINGTON, August 4. Mr William P. Bundy, the Assistant United States Secretary of State for Far Eastern Affairs, has voiced doubts that China would enter the Vietnam war in the near future. In an interview for educational television stations, Mr Bundy said that the possibilities of Peking’s involvement “might become very great" if the United States sought to overthrow the regime in North Vietnam.
