Improvements To Road
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. July 15. Improvements would be made to the surface of a 150 yard stretch of the Great South road at Ramarama, scene of many accidents, within the next few days, the Ministry of Works resident engineer for South Auckland (Mr H. D. A. Murdoch) said today. The decision to do this had been made before police told an Auckland inquest on Tuesday that 50 accidents had happened there in seven months, he said.
