Replacements For Cyprus
, (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 15. Inspector B Kelly, of Christchurch, has been select■ed to be in charge of the police contingent in Cyprus. Sixteen policemen chosen today to relieve those serving in Cyprus are: Detective Sergeant H. M. V. Burgess, Sergeant P. J. Mears, Constables A. J. A. Hamill, F. D. Pickens, A. J. Monk. G. D. Gibbs. G. J. Leppien. S. G. Gee, of Wellington; Constables W. F. Wor’rall, J. K. Clark, L. F. Beattie, G. G. Young, J. C. ScottDavidson, R. Knox, of Auckland: Constable R. J. Lloyd (Wanganui), and Detective .Constable R. D. Williams (Intvercargill). Those remaining in Cyprus tfor a second tour are Constable R. E. Currey. of Welilington. Constable F. ClagueJChristian. of Oranga. and Constable J. P. McDonnell, of (Auckland. ' The replacements wilt leave !by air from Auckland next .Tuesday.
