DISPERSAL SALE
Top-Priced Pig Makes 75gns A complete clearance of Large White pigs was made at a recent dispersal sale of G. F. Robins’s Robin-ville stock, of Oamaru. Top price of the sale was 75gns paid by A. A. Mann, of Oamaru, for a sow, Robin-ville Catalina Ist. The top priced boar, Robin-viile John 4th. realised 60gns. It was purchased by Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd., Invercargill, as agents. Nine maiden sows offered sold at an average 46igns, five sows averaged 44£gns, three young boars, 58|gns and three gilts, 34jgns. The overall average for the sale was 441gns, with weaner and porker sows and boars making up to 24gns. The sale was conducted by Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd.
