Thieves Make Big Haul
Radio and electrical equipment, clothing and other items of a total value of £902 Ils were stolen from the Victoria square premises of T. Armstrong and Company, Ltd., early yesterday morning. The theft is believed to have occurred between 1.40 a.m. and 6.45 a.m. The police are not sure how entry was gained. The thieves stripped the store of 24 transistor portable and mantel radios, a record player, and 16 electric shavers. About 20 assorted cardigans and six light-weight green or blue suitcases were also stolen.
