11 Burglary Charges
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 14. A teen-age couple appeared for sentence before Mr H. Jenner Wily, S.M., today on 11 charges of burglary. Gerard Roes, aged 18, a kitehenhand, who had previously admitted the charges, was sent to prison for six months.
The girl, whose name was suppressed, was given three years’ probation and ordered to make restitution of £5O. Earlier, it was said the 11 burglaries were committed between June 10 and 30 in Auckland. Property was stolen to the value of £554. Ross was also ordered to be deported on a charge of bting absent without leave frao4lbe atrip Corinthic.
