Looking For Equipment
The newly-formed Christchurch Medical Aid Abroad Association needs a typewriter and a duplicator for its secretary. “Ours is a purely voluntary organisation with no funds and unable to buy either machine,” an officer of the association said yesterday, making the appeal. “It does not matter if the typewriter is an old one so long as it will cut a stencil and take carbon copies.”
The association recently made it possible for about £2OOO of drugs to be sent to hospitals in Korea and Indonesia.
