SOME OF THE WHITE RUSSIAN REFUGEES who arrived at Christchurch Airport last evening from Hong Kong. They will leave this morning for Invercargill, where a resettlement programme has been arranged for them by the National Council of Churches. On the right is Mr Avdei Vshivkoff, aged 70. With him are his daughter-in-law, Mrs Elena Vshivkoff, aged 32, and three of her five children. Maxim (nine), Matrena (four), and Fedor (one).
