BUS DRIVER INJURED
Steel Pipe Spears Bus (N.Z. Press Association? PALMERSTON N., July 14. The driver of a Palmerston North City Council bus, Mr D. L. Mills, suffered a double compound fracture of the left leg when his vehicle collider! with a steel pipe protruding from the tray of a truck. The pipe pinned Mr Mill’s leg against his seat.
The truck driver was not hurt. Both vehicles were slightly damaged.
