Pastrycooks’ Group
Diversification within the industry has led to a change in the Canterbury ■ Master Bakers’ and Pastrycooks’ Association. The pastrycooks have broken away to form their own group, called the Canterbury Master Pastrycooks’ Association.
A similar change is taking place in Dunedin, and other centres are expected to follow suit. At the inaugural meeting in Christchurch 45 pastrycooks elected the following executive: president, Mr R. J. Walker; vice-presi-dent, Mr H. A. Adams; committee, Messrs S. G. Money, B. E. Schrader (Timaru), and 5. Spencer.
