£19.5 Million In Cash Loan

WELLINGTON, July 13. A substantial over-subscrip-tion of the Government cash loan which closed on July 9 was announced today by the Minister of Finance (Mr Lake). Subscriptions amounted to £19.5 million. The target was £l5 million. “This is a most satisfactory result,” Mr Lake said. “I would thank all investors who have contributed to the market success of the issue.”
